WHERE and WHEN WE MEET
Our 2023 classes will end on 14th December and will resume from Thursday 11th January 2024.
The free Social Sketching Sessions at Hook Library continue to be held on Friday afternoons
from 14:00 to 16:00 and the library now hosts a semi permanent display of members work for sale.

We meet THURSDAY MORNINGS
from 09:30 to 11:30
at Chessington Methodist Church,
Church Lane, Chessington, KT9 2DJ. 
This is on the 71 bus route.

We've got plenty of free parking 
 at the venues or nearby. 
We’re also close to public transport.


We meet THURSDAY AFTERNOONS
from 13:00 to 15:00
at The Kings Centre, Merritt Gardens, Chessington, KT9 2GZ.
This is on the K4 bus route.

Free Art Classes every Friday afternoon at our “Social Sketching Sessions.”

We are pleased to announce the free sketching sessions have been extended from alternate Fridays and will now be running EVERY FRIDAY thanks to the support of the Hook Centre, Hook Road, Chessington, KT9 1EJ. Anyone is welcome to come along and see what we do or join in.


WHERE: Sessions will be held in the Library at the Hook Centre, Hook Road, Chessington, KT9 1EJ. The Hook Centre is served by the 71, K2, K4, 465 and 467 bus routes that stop outside the Centre. There is a small pay and display car park on site as well as cycle parking. There is also free on-street parking in the residential area nearby.


WHEN: Sessions will take place every Friday and will run from 14:00 to 16:00.


WHAT TO EXPECT: Members of our group will be meeting for an informal opportunity to sketch any subject of their choosing or a “set piece” that may be flowers, an object of interest, their surroundings or maybe even a live model occasionally . We are restricted to pencil sketching at these sessions, but all mediums are catered for at our regular Thursday meetings, see above details.
